Fade in to a castle roof. A winged dragon sleeps on a ledge, and a man in blue robes walks out. The dragon wakes up, spreads its wings, and cries. A girl with pink hair walks out. |

| レナ「お父様！ | Lenna: Father! | |
| レナ「どうしても、行かれるの ですか？ |
Lenna: Do you really have to go? | |
| 王「レナ、お前は城を守るのだ。 けっして、追ってきては ならぬぞ。 レナ「でも…… |
King: Lenna, you protect the castle. You absolutely must not follow me. Lenna: But...... |

| 王「風のようすが変なのだ… わしは、風の神殿の クリスタルの所へ 行かなければならぬ。 |
King: There's something odd about the wind... I must go to the crystal in the Wind Temple. |
|
| レナ「ええ…私にも感じられます でも、おひとりでは… 王「心配するな。 |
Lenna: Yes... I can feel it too. But, by yourself... King: Don't worry. |
|
The king gets on the dragon and flies away. Lenna waves. The scene changes to a pirate ship at sea. The captain's long purple hair blows in the breeze. Then it stops suddenly. |

| ファリス「風が…とまった… | Faris: The wind... stopped... | |
The scene changes to what looks like the inside of a strangely glowing, violently shaking cave. An older man with brown hair and a beard stands inside. |

| 「風がとまったぞ！ 急がなくては！！ |
The wind's stopped! I've got to hurry!! |

The scene changes back to the castle roof. Lenna is still standing there. |
||
| レナ「風が…とまった… お父様の身になにか！？ |
Lenna: The wind... stopped... Has something happened to father!? |
|
The scene changes to a room with a large glowing Crystal. The king enters. |
||
| タイクーン王「なにっ！？ | King Tycoon: What!? | |
The room grows dark, and the Crystal shatters. The screen goes white... ...and the scene changes to a young brown-haired man and his chocobo at a campfire in the woods. A sudden rumbling catches their attention. A meteor is falling from the sky, and soon strikes the ground nearby! The man hops on the chocobo, and they put out the fire and set out. |
